What we’re looking for

So, what does it take to succeed in this role? We’re looking for an ambitious individual who can combine self-motivation with impressive organizational skills. You will also require the following:

  • An accredited post-secondary education degree or diploma
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that can support successful projects and build strong client relationships
  • Initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to complete tasks within defined timelines with little guidance
  • Key personal management skills, including strong communication, accountability, adaptability, problem solving, and a high stress tolerance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of Xero or GIS would be an asset
  • Valid G class driver’s license as travel may be required for client engagement/meetings
  • Must be eligible for a permanent work position in Canada

Stuff we’ll trust you with

Financial Management

  • Manage corporate financial accounting system
  • Create invoices and track receivables
  • Produce necessary financial reports, including monthly expense reports in Xero, monthly cash forecasting, and monthly bank reconciliation
  • Manage compliance with lосаl tax and accounting laws
  • Ensure office financial obligations are paid in a timely manner

Office Management

  • Actively manage both staff and office operations
  • Provide management support to the team that will build internal capacity and keep projects on track
  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects at once from initiation to completion
  • Devise creative and effective procedures to enhance efficiency for the company as a whole
  • Assist with the planning and development of a wide variety of impactful projects
  • Work closely with clients and funders to ensure that the scope, direction, and budget of each project are met
  • Maintain accurate systems to track project progress
